See what new guns and gear had the Swampfox team excited from November 2023.

New Guns & Gear

Marlin Dark Series Lever Actions

Reintroduced and manufactured by Ruger, the new Marlin Dark Series lever-action rifles introduce several improvements for a modern take on classic designs. Sporting a black Cerakote finish, the space cowboy guns feature a polymer stock with integrated cheek riser and M-LOK slots, an aluminum handguard with extended Picatinny top rail, and a flared finger lever. Initial Dark Series models will be chambered in .45-70 Govt, .30-30 Win, and .44 Mag / Special.

Palmetto State Armory Sabre-10A1

If you’re a fan of military clones or multi-color firearms, the new PSA Sabre-10A1 may be for you. With the styling of the H&K M-110A1 and the price tag PSA is known for, the latest Sabre rifles are direct impingement, offered with billet or forged receivers and chambered in .308 Win with 16” barrels. The FDE, moss green, and burnt bronze rifles wear a B5 Sop-Mod stock, 15” M-LOK rail, and Sabre grip, and ship with one 20-round translucent Lancer Magazine to complete the look.

SIG Sauer P320-XTEN Comp

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. In this case, the ‘whole’ is the new SIG Sauer P320-XTEN Comp. Combining the 10mm with a ported slide and bull barrel, the new XTEN Comp model delivers backcountry stopping power with 20% less recoil. Built on a 15-round compact polymer grip module, the XTEN Comp features a flat trigger, RX optics cut, and X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights for a more enjoyable shooting experience in the field and on the range.

Stag Arms Pursuit Bolt Actions

Big game hunting seasons may be wrapping, but it’s never too late to get your next hunting rifle. New from Stag Arms, the Pursuit Series pushes the boundaries of off-the-shelf bolt-action rifles with Remington 700 actions, fluted stainless steel barrels, polymer Sporter takedown stocks, and Picatinny spigot mounts. Available in three calibers (.308 Win, 6.5 C, 6.5 PRC), three barrel lengths (18”, 20”, 22”), and three colors (black, OD Green, tan), gear up for next season now.

Glock 49 MOS

First leaked back in early 2022, the cross-over Glock 49 MOS is finally making its way stateside thanks to TALO Distributors. The opposite of a G19X/G45, the 15-round, 9mm G49 MOS takes advantage of the proven G19 carry frame size with the longer barrel and sight radius of the G17. With Gen 5 features, including front and rear slide serrations and the latest Glock performance trigger and barrel, the G49 MOS is optics ready for concealed and duty carry.

CZ 600 American

Czech-subsidiary CZ-USA has been making guns in the U.S. for years, but the new CZ 600 American is a direct homage to modern American-style bolt-actions. Highlighted by an elegant Turkish walnut engraved stock, the latest 600 Series rifle uses the same modular threelug action capable of accepting AR-style magazines with an Remington 700-type optic mount, thin profile 20” or 24” barrels, and seven chamberings ranging from .223 Rem to .308 Win.
