Clean Sight Picture: New Swampfox Patriot II 6-24x50 FFP
07/17/2026

There's a certain kind of reticle that looks less like an aiming solution and more like a spreadsheet. Dots, hashes, numbers, floating decimals, the works. If you've ever put your eye behind one of those and felt your brain start buffering, the new Patriot II 6-24x50 FFP was built with you in mind.
Our latest second-generation riflescope pairs serious long-range magnification with two brand-new reticles designed to do exactly what a reticle is supposed to do: help you hit the target. It's a sharpshooter on the range and a spot-and-stalk partner in the field, and it's the first Patriot II to hit the shelves. Let's break down what it does and who it's for.
PRECISION ANYWHERE
Patriot II was designed and refined for tactical shooters and hunters alike, which is a polite way of saying it doesn't care whether you're ringing steel at the local range or hoofing it up a ridgeline before first light. Either way, you get first focal plane (FFP) precision, simplified crosshair reticles, and the second-generation optical performance we've baked into the rest of the II family.
First focal plane matters here because your reticle scales with magnification. That means your ranging and holdover values stay true across the entire zoom range instead of only working at max power. Dial up, dial down, the math doesn't change on you.
LONG-RANGE VERSATILITY
Patriot II arrives first in a 6-24x50 configuration. The 4x zoom ratio gives you a wide spread from mid-range magnification all the way out to serious long-distance glass, while the 50mm objective pulls in enough light to keep your target sharp and your details visible from dawn to dusk.
Translation: you're not stuck picking between a scope for closer work and a scope for reach-out-and-touch-it work. Patriot II covers the span, with light transmission that holds up when the sun starts working against you.
LESS IS MORE
Here's the part we're most excited about. Patriot II debuts two new reticles, Clean Cross MOA and Clean Tree MOA, both built on a traditional, duplex-inspired design with no-frills ranging. The idea is precision without paralysis: a clean, glass-etched sight picture that gets out of your own way.
Both reticles are anchored by a 4 MOA center crosshair with 64 MOA of vertical and horizontal ranging. Whether you're brand new to long-range shooting or you just prefer a clutter-free view, that's plenty of reference without turning your field of view into a math worksheet.
Clean Cross MOA
Traditional duplex meets simplified precision. Clean Cross is the pared-down option: that 4 MOA center crosshair and 64 MOA of elevation and windage, and not much else in your way. It's a versatile pick for mid-range to long-distance tactical and hunting work, and it's ideal for shooters who want a familiar, uncomplicated aiming point they can trust.
Clean Tree MOA
Traditional duplex meets elevated precision. Clean Tree keeps the same 4 MOA center crosshair and 64 MOA ranging, then adds a 4 MOA dotted ranging tree below center for quick holdovers. If you want to stretch things out and dial in fast follow-up holds without cluttering the whole picture, this is your reticle. Same clean philosophy, a little more capability.
Both reticles launch non-illuminated. MIL ranging and illuminated variants are set to release at later dates, so if MILs are your language or you want a glowing aiming point for low light, sit tight. More Patriot II is on the way.
ALWAYS IN FOCUS
A great reticle doesn't do you much good if it's fuzzy, so Patriot II is built to keep both your reticle and your target crisp. You get side parallax adjustment and a fast-focus rear diopter working together: make small adjustments to the ocular lens to bring your Clean Cross or Clean Tree reticle into sharp focus, then fine-tune out parallax error with the side focus knob.
Add in enhanced lens coatings and Patriot II optimizes clarity regardless of target distance, ambient light, or even astigmatism. Focus once, then get back to the important part.
CONFIDENT CONSTRUCTION
From the backyard range to the rugged backcountry, Patriot II is built to take a beating and keep shooting straight. It's constructed on a corrosion-resistant 6063 aluminum 30mm tube with fully multi-coated, anti-fog, and hydrophobic lenses, so rough rides, tough climbs, and ugly weather are part of the job description, not a reason to baby it.
Low-profile capped elevation and windage turrets round out the package. They lock your zero away from bumps, drops, dirt, water, and the occasional accidental brush against your pack, so the setting you dialed at home is the setting you keep in the field.
