Hostile Engagement Mount
We took our proven Hostile Engagement Rings, fused them together and created the beefy one-piece Hostile Engagement Mount. Made from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in matte black hardcoat, the Hostile Engagement Mount extends the center of the forward ring 2” beyond the edge of the 1913 Picatinny mounting surface. This configuration is perfect for LPVOs with generous eye relief, like Tomahawk and Arrowhead. Low profile T25 Torx bolts provide more clamping power than thumb nuts, while integrated recoil lugs ensure everything stays locked down. Built-in RMR footprint mounts at 45⁰ angles are threaded 3.5 x 0.6 for installing an offset back up dot sight like Kingslayer, Liberty or Justice.

One-Piece Cantilever Strength
Built by fusing the proven Hostile Engagement Ring geometry into a single unified body, the cantilever design eliminates the gap alignment issues of two-piece mounts and dramatically increases rigidity. There are no joints to flex and no independent rings to drift out of alignment, just one solid piece of 7075-T6 aluminum holding your optic exactly where you put it, shot after shot.
Integral 45-Degree RMR Mounts
Two 45-degree RMR footprint optic mounts are machined directly into the Hostile Engagement Mount body, letting you run an offset backup dot sight without any additional hardware. Compatible with Swampfox Kingslayer, Liberty, Justice, and any other RMR-footprint micro dot. Offset sights stay perfectly canted for instant transitions from magnified to close-quarters distance.
2" Forward Offset for LPVO Ergonomics
The front ring centerline extends 2 inches beyond the front edge of the Picatinny mounting surface, placing low-power variable optics at their correct eye relief distance without rearward scope positioning. This lets shooters maintain a natural, aggressive rifle grip while keeping the scope fully in view, critical for fast target acquisition with 1-8x and similar LPVOs.
Steel Thread Inserts for Long-Term Durability
Every threaded hole in the Hostile Engagement Mount is fitted with a steel thread insert. Aluminum threads are vulnerable to galling and wear after repeated assembly cycles, especially under field conditions. Steel inserts provide a hardened mating surface for the cap screws and mount bolts, ensuring the same thread integrity on the hundredth installation as on the first.
7075-T6 Aluminum Construction
Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the same aerospace-grade alloy specified for structural airframe components, the Hostile Engagement Mount delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance. CNC machining to tight tolerances ensures ring bore alignment is factory-perfect, eliminating the need for lapping and guaranteeing consistent scope tube contact across both rings.
Scratch-Resistant Hardcoat Oxidized Finish
The matte black hardcoat oxidized finish penetrates the aluminum surface rather than sitting on top of it, creating a finish that is significantly harder and more abrasion-resistant than standard anodizing. It won't flake, chip, or peel under field use, and the matte texture eliminates light reflection that could compromise your position in low-light conditions.
Torque-Specified Torx Hardware
Ring cap screws (T10 Torx, 10 in-lbs) and Picatinny mount bolts (T25 Torx, 25 in-lbs) are included with the mount along with the appropriate Torx key. Published torque values eliminate guesswork and give you repeatable, consistent clamping force every time you reinstall the mount, protecting your scope tube from over-torque damage and your zero from under-torque slippage.
Broad Platform and Optic Compatibility
Available in 30mm and 34mm tube diameter configurations to fit the full range of tactical and precision scopes. The 1.60" centerline height clears 56mm objective lenses on standard AR-15 handguards and works with large-frame AR platforms. Proven with Swampfox Arrowhead 1-8x and Patriot 6-24x, and compatible with any scope sharing those tube diameters.

Mount is good and solid so far. The only criticism I have is the beefy-ness and weight. I think the mount could go on a diet. Get skinnier. lighter and sexier.

Well, I'm torn on the looks. At times it looks blocky like legos, at other times it looks utilitarian to the point of being elegant. It holds a zero and inspires a lot of confidence, which are honestly the only things that matter.
