Swampfox Freedom Rings II cut the fat off our original Freedom Rings for a lighter, more efficient mounting solution without cutting durability. Freedom Rings II are milled from 7075-T6 aluminum and feature a scratch resistant hardcoat finish. This grade of aluminum and finish match with AR-15 receivers, so we reckon it’s good enough to be our standard for Freedom Rings II. These rings don’t need to be lapped and come with a thin no-slip material pre-installed to help your optic stay level while torquing your ring caps. Never sacrifice strength, weight, or appearance when you can have it all with our one-and-done second-gen scope rings.

Second-Generation Design

Freedom Rings II represents the result of listening to shooters and refining what worked. Every change, lighter body, better geometry, pre-installed no-slip material, came from documented user feedback. This is not a rebrand; it is a purpose-driven redesign that makes a trusted mounting solution measurably better.

7075-T6 Aluminum Construction

CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the aerospace-grade alloy used in premium rifle components, Freedom Rings II carry the structural integrity needed for sustained recoil without the mass penalty of lesser alloys. Sold as a matched pair machined to the same tolerances, bore alignment is guaranteed from the factory.

Pre-Installed No-Slip Material

A thin no-slip layer pre-installed on the ring cap face grips the scope tube during installation, preventing rotation as you level the reticle and torque the cap screws. No more fighting a spinning scope tube. Set your level, tighten, done.

Hardcoat Oxidized Finish

The scratch-resistant hardcoat oxidized finish provides a surface treatment that is harder than standard anodize and far more durable than painted coatings. It protects the aluminum against the scuffs, abrasion, and handling wear that accumulate with range use without adding measurable weight.

Two Heights for Any Platform

The 1.10" rings suit classic bolt-action rifles with stocks positioned lower than the receiver rail, clearing objective lenses up to 44mm and offering a natural cheek weld on AK-pattern rifles running LPVOs. The 1.60" rings set the AR-15 standard height, clearing iron sights with the full 1.435" gap and accepting 56mm objective lenses on large-frame ARs.

Precision-Spec Fasteners

T10 ring cap screws torque to 10 inch-pounds for secure, even clamping that protects the scope tube from distortion. 1913 MIL STD Picatinny base screws torque to 30 inch-pounds for a rail interface that will not creep under sustained recoil. Published torque specs give you repeatable, reliable results on every install.

30mm & 34mm Diameter Options

Available in both 30mm and 34mm inside diameter to match the widening range of modern scope tube sizes. Whether your optic runs a standard 30mm tube or the larger 34mm format found on many premium precision and variable scopes, Freedom Rings II fit without adapters or shimming.
