Justice Ironsides Shield
Ironsides Shield is named after the U.S.S. Constitution, famous for such tough construction that enemy cannonballs bounced off her hull during the War of 1812. "Old Ironsides" was built from oak and pine, but our Ironsides is made from SUS304 blackened stainless steel. Slip Ironsides Shield over your Swampfox dot sight and install using the supplied extra-length screws. All shock forces from barricade racking, drop testing, and other impacts are routed around your Swampfox optic and straight to the mounting footprint area, protecting the scope inside. Ironsides Shield is cheap insurance for those who know their optics will have a harsh life of constant use and abuse.

Includes one set of screws: #6-32 x .393"/ T10. These screws are intended to work with the most common pistol slide applications. We encourage you to check the thread pitch of your mount before ordering the Ironsides Shield, because longer screws of the correct thread pitch may be required. If you need longer screws and cannot source them from your slide/mount maker, our Ultimate Screw Pack may be able to provide a solution.

a good addition to protect the optic from impacts, but now the rubber cover doesn't fit and when cleaning the pistol the lens is exposed .I am using a ball of cotton as a substitute and that seems to work ok.

Good product. Have 3 Justice and Liberty red dots. Having a little extra protection is always good. Bought my first one 4 days before the black Friday sale. The others on black Friday that came with free Ironsides. Not wanting to have one without the Ironsides. Purchased this one during weekend sale for sale price on websites.

I own Ironsides shields on 2 of my Swampfox optics. Although the optics are tough by themselves, the shield offers an incredible edge of protection for tougher than normal use or a mishap.

I haven’t mounted the sight yet. As I’m still waiting on the mill work. But the Ironsides fit the sight nicely and finish looks to be too notch.

Precision made addition seems very capable of protecting the sight. On my mount (Springer Springfield XDM 5.25) the locating pins are just high enough to engage the sight with the Shield added. Time will tell if things stay together, something to consider depending on your mount design.
